# Advisedly > Advisedly is a free UK consumer service for understanding financial advice, checking FCA records, exploring adviser fees and sending a private enquiry for human review. Canonical website: https://advisedly.co.uk/ The articles, guides, calculators and local information on Advisedly are for general information and education. They do not provide personal financial, investment, pension, mortgage, insurance, tax or legal advice. Any personal advice is provided by the adviser or firm you choose, under a separate agreement with them. That adviser or firm is responsible for its assessment, recommendations, services and charges. Advisedly reviews enquiries about service needs, goals, timing, relevant asset ranges, location and meeting preferences. Both email and phone are required. It does not produce an automated adviser ranking or instant list of matched firms. We aim to confirm that we have received your enquiry within one working day and update you on the next step within two working days. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. When you request an introduction, Advisedly may share your contact details and enquiry answers with the financial advice firm it selects. The firm may contact you by phone or email about your enquiry. You decide whether to use its services. Advisedly marketing emails require a separate, optional opt-in, which does not affect the enquiry. ## Published fee research The research includes counts of the recorded ongoing charging models, eight published-rate illustrations at four asset values, and downloadable charts and briefing notes. These describe a selected disclosure sample; they do not establish market averages, equivalent services or rankings. Source-check dates are separate from the analysis update. - [Annual fee scenario data (CSV)](https://advisedly.co.uk/research/published-financial-advice-fee-scenarios.csv): 32 rate illustrations with the original sources, conditions, VAT notes and excluded costs. - [Research briefing](https://advisedly.co.uk/research/advisedly-fee-research-briefing.txt): Findings, scope and attribution guidance for journalists and researchers. - [Published financial adviser fees: 50 UK firms](https://advisedly.co.uk/research/published-financial-advice-fees): Original Advisedly research comparing public initial and ongoing fee disclosures. Updated 15 September 2026; each firm has its own source-check date. Includes source links, service scope, minimums, caps and VAT notes. This is a selected sample, not a market average, ranking, personal quote or list of Advisedly partners. - [Research method and limitations](https://advisedly.co.uk/research/published-financial-advice-fees#method): How sources and examples were checked, what the comparison excludes and how to cite it. Published charges may change; check the linked firm source and obtain a current quote. - [Download the fee source table (CSV)](https://advisedly.co.uk/research/published-financial-advice-fees.csv): The same 50 entries, including source URLs, individual check dates, initial work, implementation, ongoing advice, VAT and limitations. Cite the research page and the original firm source for a fee claim. ## Calculators and checks - [Financial adviser fee calculator](https://advisedly.co.uk/fees): Convert initial and ongoing percentage charges into pounds. Illustrations assume a constant asset value and fee rate; they are not named-firm quotes or total investment costs. - [Pension savings calculator](https://advisedly.co.uk/tools/pension-savings): Illustrate a defined contribution pot using starting savings, monthly contributions, years, growth, percentage charges and inflation. Shows future pounds and today's spending power. Assumptions are examples, not forecasts; excludes State Pension, defined benefit income and withdrawals. Calculator figures stay in the visitor's browser. - [Check an adviser](https://advisedly.co.uk/check): Search FCA firm and individual records and follow the official record. A register entry is not an endorsement or confirmation that a particular service is covered; check the permissions, restrictions and any appointed representative's principal. ## Guides and advice topics Guides provide lasting explanations, practical questions and worked examples.
